![]() Meanwhile, Jay managed to break him and his brothers out of the sack and proceeded to beat up Corporal Pig and the two pig drivers. The pigs in the bushes then saw the real eggs and proceeded to take them back to Pig City. She then looked around for the eggs and saw a cart trail, prompting her to go after the cart. Matilda then returned and then saw through the pigs' disguises before kicking them into the bushes that the eggs were in. Corporal Pig then ordered three minion pigs disguised as eggs themselves to avoid raising any suspicion to take the place of the real eggs before heading back to Pig City. Then, the Minion Pigs arrived and Corporal Pig took the "eggs", not realizing that he had in fact taken the Blues. She then realized the Blues were missing and proceeded to find them. Matilda examined what she believed were the eggs. Then they saw Matilda approaching, so they tried to act like the eggs. Once Jay, Jake, and Jim noticed that the eggs were gone, they screamed. Jim accidentally pushed the eggs, which caused them to fall into a bush. The episode begins with Matilda leaving Jay, Jake, and Jim alone to guard the eggs, but they went and played in the mud, causing them to be colored like the eggs. The pigs kidnap the birds thinking they are the real eggs, and then other pigs go into the nest pretending to be eggs as well. The Blues disguise themselves as eggs for fun. A place where you could find or share information about the Angry Birds and Bad Piggies series. It's not the greatest of movies, but it could have been a lot worse. Double Take has some pretty funny moments and some good (and confusing) plot twists. I really can't tell whether it's smart or stupid, but whatever it is, it is entertaining. However, as already mentioned, the plot twists get tiresome after a while, and it seems as though by the end they are just being made for the hell of it, without any real reason, or rationality, behind them.īut, I'll admit it: Double Take was a lot better than what I expected. Just about every character you can think isn't what he or she first appears to be, and the movie makes a point to turn these little twists into a pretty complicated plot. However, for a comedy, it is pretty complicated. Double Take is a comedy at the heart, and I'll treat it as such. ![]() The action isn't anything to scream about, either, although I was not expecting too much. Surprisingly, there are a million twists and turns in the hour and a half story, and maybe a few hundred too many.ĭouble Take is not as funny as it obviously was meant to be some of the jokes are bland, and other times, especially during more physical situations, there isn't anything that exciting. More complicated than what the scriptwriters could concoct in their heads, most likely.ĭouble Take, an action comedy starring Orlando Jones and Eddie Griffin, is about a banker who finds himself on the run from the law for a crime he didn't commit, and a loud-mouthed bum who tags along for the ride, trading places to save his 'friend's' life. More complicated than what I could follow. Trust me, as stupid as Double Take looked, I am pleased to announce that it is much more complicated than anyone could imagine.
